Dublin City University, Ireland Visited the School of Computer Science and Software Engineering to Discuss International Exchanges and Cooperation

On the morning of March 10th, Ms. Sylvia Schroeder, Head of China Cooperation Affairs, Dublin City University, Ireland, visited the School of Computer Science and Software Engineering to discuss issues related to student joint training and research cooperation. Professor Wang Changbo, the deputy dean of the college, attended the reception.

 

 

Currently, the college was actively exploring and promoting exchanges and cooperation with Dublin City University, Ireland. During the talking, Ms. Schroeder first introduced the summer student internship program of the City University of Dublin, and welcomed the students from the School of Computer Science and Software Engineering to promote student exchange programs through student internships. Prof. Wang also gave a brief description of the annual summer school and invited professors from Dublin City University to participate in the joint laboratory of the Ministry of Education's Trusted Software International Cooperation. Subsequently, the two sides also exchanged the joint training of students and joint application for the International Cooperation Research Project. They reached a preliminary intention finally.

 

Previously, our school had conducted many exchanges of visits with the City University of Dublin, Ireland. In October last year, Dublin City University organized a delegation to visit our school. The relevant professors participated in the exchange. At the end of November last year, Vice President Wang Changbo accompanied the delegation to Dublin City University; Dr. Cathal Gurrin would also visit at the end of this month to reach further discuss cooperation in personnel training and scientific research
