On June 19th, the software engineering first-class discipline construction project demonstration meeting was successfully held in our hospital. Prof. Yuxi Fu from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Prof. Ning Gu from Fudan University, Prof. Huaikou Miao from Shanghai University, Prof. Jianhui Jiang from Tongji University, and Prof. Guixu Zhang from East China Normal University. The experts of the seminar: Academician Jifeng He, Academic Party Secretary Wei Li, Executive Vice President Changbo Wang, Vice President Ningkang Jiang, Associate Dean Professor Geguang Pu and some teachers representatives, participated in the demonstration.

After the brief speech by Dean Jifeng He, Dean Changbo Wang reported on the construction of the first-class discipline of software engineering around the construction goals, construction foundation, subject advantages, construction content and expected results.

Subsequently, the participating experts put forward an overall evaluation of the software engineering first-class discipline construction program, fully affirmed the feasibility and rationality of the software engineering first-class discipline construction program, and also put forward constructive opinions on the teacher team construction and institutional mechanism reform.

Finally, on the basis of reviewing the construction plan of the software engineering discipline, the participating experts formed a demonstration argument for the software engineering discipline construction plan after discussion.
